Lindsay Hutter is the Data & Marketing Association’s (DMA) Senior Vice President of Communications and PR, Co-Executive of DMA’s Data-Driven Marketing Institute and DMA Executive for the International ECHO Awards. In this role, she leads DMA’s overall communications and public relations strategy, elevating the Association’s position and reputation within the dynamic marketing industry and elevating the marketing ecosystem across the broader U.S. marketplace. In addition, she serves as a key senior executive in accelerating the growing momentum of DMA’s modernization, bringing the full impact of strategic communications to support our membership and advocacy programs and building awareness and regard for responsible data-driven marketing. Hutter’s additional roles at DMA including the launch of such innovative programs as the HOT ZONE, DMA’s unique competition for martech and adtech startups and the global re-launch of DMA’s International ECHO awards. She also serves as Co-Executive of DMA’s Data-Driven Marketing Institute with colleague Neil O’Keefe, DMA’s SVP of CRM & Member Engagement.
A seasoned association professional, Hutter has served as a senior executive in communications, government relations and membership positions for one of the US’s most respected trade associations and as an executive vice president with a global public relations firm. Before joining DMA, Hutter served as Executive Vice President and Global Practice Leader for Change+Internal Communications for Hill+Knowlton, where she led the firm’s worldwide work in advising clients on organizational transformation and stakeholder communications. Prior to that, she served as chief client leader for a wide range of companies. Before her tenure at Hill+Knowlton, Hutter was Senior Vice President of Communications for the National Association of Convenience Stores, where she designed and led multiple reputation and issue campaigns for the industry.
